Employment Hero is seeking a Lead Machine Learning Engineer to play a crucial role in advancing their AI efforts.
The successful candidate will need to have expert-level understanding of Large Language Models (LLM) and stay updated with the latest developments in the field to build scalable, robust, and high-performance AI systems.
Responsibilities include designing and building prototypes for machine learning and AI applications, implementing scalable AI systems and pipelines, and creating evaluation frameworks to track system performance.
The Lead Machine Learning Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop AI solutions that address customer needs and provide technical guidance and mentorship to other ML engineers.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in machine learning, with a strong focus on applied AI and large language models.
Strong proficiency in programming languages, techniques, tools, and frameworks aligned with machine learning is required, such as Python, LLM, OpenAI, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Vector DB, RAG, HuggingFace, NLP, Recommender System, and Chatbot.
Experience with Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, and Large Language Models is essential.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, quality coding practices, and a passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing are necessary.
Excellent English language abilities, both written and verbal, are a must due to collaboration with global teams.
