Description:

  • The Lead Machine Learning Engineer will lead delivery teams and clearly delineate parallel work-streams.
  • This role involves leading discovery sessions with clients and carefully navigating requirement discussions to avoid designs requiring additional scope.
  • The engineer will support pre-sales discussions and assist pre-sales engineers in identifying scope issues and clearly defining assumptions for Levels of Effort (LOEs).
  • The position requires driving reusable code and solution architecture practices.
  • The engineer will apply cloud architecture and application design knowledge.
  • Assisting the sales team with potential clients is also part of the job responsibilities.
  • Documenting requirements and design decisions is essential.
  • The engineer must ensure that coding practices result in clean, reusable code to consistently mature the delivery practice.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but relevant experience will be considered as an equivalent.
  • A strong foundation in Natural Language Processing (NLP), vision, and generative AI is required.
  • Experience with Vertex AI, Vertex Search, and Conversations is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Dialogflow CX is essential.
  • Knowledge of Vision AI and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is required.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Text-to-Speech and Cloud Speech-to-Text is necessary.
  • Experience with Cloud Translation and glossaries is required.
  • Proficiency in Python is essential.
  • Knowledge of vector stores and Langchain is required.
  • Understanding of Data Loss Prevention is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) best practices, especially with the complexity of CCAI and/or PSO engagements, is required.
