Description:

As the Lead Mobile Engineer, you will own the design and development of front and back-end architecture for the Cardata Mobile application.
You will leverage your expertise in various languages and technologies to ensure responsiveness and utility of features.
Your responsibilities include creating and deploying bug fixes and developing an exceptional user interface.
You will lead a team of mobile engineers and mentor them to help develop their craft.
You will participate in bi-weekly sprint planning and retrospectives to ensure developments are properly scoped and scheduled.
You will develop highly available, secure, and scalable mobile features for both iOS and Android platforms.
Writing efficient, maintainable code in languages such as Swift, Kotlin, and Typescript with React Native is expected.
You will define and implement the technical architecture and strategy for mobile development.
Ensuring cross-platform optimization and responsiveness of mobile applications is a key responsibility.
You will collaborate with the Product team to incorporate customer feedback into new features.
Developing and deploying APIs to effectively integrate the Cardata product with clients' existing enterprise systems is part of the role.
Staying updated on the latest trends in mobile development and programming languages is essential.
You will coach and mentor junior engineers to help them grow in their skills and careers.

Requirements:

You must have 5+ years of software development or engineering experience.
A minimum of 3+ years building and maintaining iOS and Android applications is required.
You should have at least 1+ year in a leadership role.
Familiarity with ReactNative and Javascript/TypeScript is necessary.
An understanding of relational databases, local storage, and caches is important.
Strong time management skills are required, with an aptitude for breaking down complex problems into simpler tasks for incremental delivery.
Excellent problem-solving skills are essential, with the ability to analyze situations and develop effective solutions in a timely manner.
You should be collaborative and team-oriented, with a strong sense of accountability and the ability to take ownership of tasks.
