A European IT company with over 15 years of experience is seeking a highly skilled Lead MS SQL Developer.

Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining MS SQL Server databases, schemas, and stored procedures.
The role involves developing and maintaining ETL processes using SSIS or other tools, leading and mentoring a team of SQL developers, and ensuring code quality and best practices.
Additional tasks include conducting code reviews, performance tuning, and providing technical guidance, as well as ensuring high availability, clustering, and replication strategies for critical databases.
The position also requires designing and developing complex reports using SSRS, Power BI, or other reporting tools.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in MS SQL Server development.
Experience in leading a team of developers or holding a senior role in database projects is required.
Proficiency in database architecture, performance tuning, and optimization is essential.
Advanced knowledge of T-SQL, query optimization, and indexing strategies is necessary.
Experience in performance tuning, execution plan analysis, and troubleshooting is required.
Familiarity with SSIS for ETL processes and SSRS/Power BI for reporting is expected.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) is mandatory.
Proficiency in English at a B2+ level is required.
