Remote Lead MS SQL Developer (Slovenia, remote)

• Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining MS SQL Server databases, schemas, and stored procedures.
• The role involves developing and maintaining ETL processes using SSIS or other tools, leading and mentoring a team of SQL developers, and ensuring code quality and best practices.
• Additional tasks include conducting code reviews, performance tuning, and providing technical guidance, as well as ensuring high availability, clustering, and replication strategies for critical databases.
• The position also requires designing and developing complex reports using SSRS, Power BI, or other reporting tools.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in MS SQL Server development.
• Experience in leading a team of developers or holding a senior role in database projects is required.
• Proficiency in database architecture, performance tuning, and optimization is essential.
• Advanced knowledge of T-SQL, query optimization, and indexing strategies is necessary.
• Experience in performance tuning, execution plan analysis, and troubleshooting is required.
• Familiarity with SSIS for ETL processes and SSRS/Power BI for reporting is expected.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) is mandatory.
• Proficiency in English at a B2+ level is required.
