Description:
Skimmer is seeking a Lead .NET Mobile Engineer to modernize the pool and spa service and repair industry.
The company has over 6000 customers using their pool service software and aims to expand further in the niche market.
The role involves leading the design, implementation, and delivery of new features for Android and iOS native mobile applications.
Collaboration with various teams like marketing, product, backend engineering, and QA is essential to ensure a great mobile experience for customers.
Managing mobile application releases and ensuring compliance with app store requirements are key responsibilities.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of native mobile application development experience.
A minimum of 5 years of experience with Microsoft Xamarin, Xamarin.Forms, or MAUI frameworks is required.
Demonstrated experience in leading multi-person mobile development initiatives, especially in mobile field services applications, is a plus.
Proficiency in working with Azure cloud services, C#/.NET development, and best-practice API design is necessary.
Familiarity with MVVM frameworks, particularly ReactiveUI, and unit testing frameworks like NUnit/XUnit is essential.
Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and research skills are required.
Ability to translate business objectives into technical solutions and solid knowledge of Agile development methodologies are expected.
A passion for the Microsoft .NET stack and Distributed Systems is preferred.
