Description:

  • Skimmer is seeking a Lead .NET Mobile Engineer to modernize the pool and spa service and repair industry.
  • The company has over 6000 customers using their pool service software and aims to expand further in the niche market.
  • The role involves leading the design, implementation, and delivery of new features for Android and iOS native mobile applications.
  • Collaboration with various teams like marketing, product, backend engineering, and QA is essential to ensure a great mobile experience for customers.
  • Managing mobile application releases and ensuring compliance with app store requirements are key responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of native mobile application development experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with Microsoft Xamarin, Xamarin.Forms, or MAUI frameworks is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading multi-person mobile development initiatives, especially in mobile field services applications, is a plus.
  • Proficiency in working with Azure cloud services, C#/.NET development, and best-practice API design is necessary.
  • Familiarity with MVVM frameworks, particularly ReactiveUI, and unit testing frameworks like NUnit/XUnit is essential.
  • Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and research skills are required.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into technical solutions and solid knowledge of Agile development methodologies are expected.
  • A passion for the Microsoft .NET stack and Distributed Systems is preferred.
