Description:
The Lead NetSuite Developer will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve NetSuite SuiteBuilder, SuiteScripts, and Workflows.
This role involves collaborating with various teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
The developer will create and maintain technical documentation related to NetSuite software design and code.
Providing training to end users for newly developed solutions is a key responsibility.
The position requires implementing and configuring SuiteApps for client end users.
The developer will build and maintain integrations into NetSuite utilizing Middleware (IPaaS), REST, and SFTP solutions.
Assisting in functional design specifications is part of the job.
The candidate must manage and prioritize workload effectively to meet set deadlines and milestones.
Compliance with all software coding standards, procedures, and guidelines is essential.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues with existing and ongoing solutions is expected.
Continuous education of NetSuite best practices and other third-party applications is required.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
The candidate must have 5+ years of experience working with NetSuite.
Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, FreeMarker, and BFO is necessary.
Expertise in SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, SuiteFlow, REST, and other NetSuite customization technologies is required.
A strong understanding of business processes and requirements is essential.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary.
A good understanding of data analysis, performance optimization, and NetSuite governance is required.
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices is essential.
The ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients is required.
Mentoring and leadership skills are necessary for this role.
The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
NetSuite and/or Middleware (IPaaS) certifications are required.
Experience with middlewares (IPaaS) such as Dell Boomi, Celigo, and Workato is necessary.
