Description:

• The position is for a Lead PHP Developer working remotely for a client that provides enterprise-class managed data center services.
• The company has experienced a 700% growth in the past 6 years and operates around 70 datacenters across 29 different markets.
• The team is modernizing a legacy ERP platform into current-day technologies, working on complex and high-impact projects.
• Responsibilities include contributing to the design and development of the client's API, creating internal tools, ensuring high availability and performance, troubleshooting issues, overseeing merge requests and deployments, supporting sprint planning, conducting code reviews, mentoring developers, and creating documentation.
• The role involves hands-on development work for 40-50% of the time.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience developing enterprise applications using PHP is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in designing high-performance, highly available applications and databases is necessary.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience integrating third-party APIs is required, with additional experience in developing and maintaining RESTful APIs being advantageous.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for both Microsoft SQL and MySQL is essential.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Docker, RabbitMQ, Elastic Search, Jenkins, and Redis is beneficial.
• Experience as a team lead is strongly preferable, but candidates who meet the other qualifications and feel ready for this next step are encouraged to apply.
