Description:

LocalStack is a fast-growing startup focused on revolutionizing cloud development processes by providing a high-fidelity emulator and local cloud development platform.
The Lead Product Manager / DevX Engineer will be responsible for pushing the developer platform to the next level by integrating solutions into the existing developer ecosystem.
The role involves analyzing the cloud dev tooling ecosystem, identifying market opportunities, and evolving the product offering to enhance customer use cases and developer experience.
The position requires collaboration with Engineering, Data, DevRel, and GTM teams, as well as working closely with the community to steer the product direction.
The Lead Product Manager will play a strategic and hands-on role in aligning the product offering with customer expectations and driving innovation within the team.

Requirements:

3+ years of product management experience, preferably in software developer tooling or cloud platforms.
Deep understanding of software product lifecycle, development processes, and challenges in bringing new products to market.
Strong experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS and Azure, IaC frameworks such as Terraform and CDK, and serverless application development frameworks.
Prior engineering experience, ideally as a Senior/Lead engineer at a dev tools product company.
Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations, evaluate challenges, and document decisions.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving communication across departments.
Empathy and user-centric mindset to understand user pain points and create products that deliver value and a great developer experience.
