Description:

The Lead Sales Engineer (Data) position is a permanent remote role based in Europe.
ICEYE is a global leader in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite operations, focusing on Earth Observation and natural catastrophe solutions.
The role involves enabling technical sales, acting as a key technical advisor for potential customers, and ensuring the successful integration of ICEYE’s SAR data products.
Responsibilities include serving as the technical lead in sales engagements, collaborating with the sales team to tailor technical solutions, conducting technical presentations and product demonstrations, designing solution architectures, and acting as a liaison between sales, engineering, and product teams.
The Lead Sales Engineer will also provide pre-sales support, develop in-depth knowledge of ICEYE’s products, participate in strategic planning for business development, and mentor junior staff members.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in technical sales engineering roles, preferably in the satellite imagery domain, with experience in both B2B and B2G environments.
Proven expertise in delivering impactful technical presentations and demonstrations is required.
Strong knowledge of relevant technical solutions and excellent problem-solving skills are essential.
Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers and colleagues at all levels.
The ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment is necessary.
A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Remote Sensing, Geography, Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
