Description:
Experian is seeking a Lead Security Partner to report to the Director-Security Partner, playing a crucial role in the organization's information security landscape.
The Lead Security Partner will act as a trusted advisor to the functional leaders within the assigned business unit (BU), bridging the gap between priorities and security risks.
This position involves engaging with the BU's senior leadership team to understand their strategic goals and challenges, guiding discussions on security matters.
The candidate will advocate for the BU within Experian's Global Security Office (EGSO), ensuring security decisions align with the BU's unique context and needs.
Responsibilities include leading project security assessments, developing an understanding of BU information security risks, and establishing executive relationships with the BU's management team.
The role requires directing, consulting, and collaborating to integrate security with BU goals and initiatives.
The Lead Security Partner will analyze information security trends, promote cybersecurity awareness, and design security metrics to measure effectiveness.
Communication of risks to BU leadership and leading continuous improvements related to compliance with industry mandates is essential.
The candidate will oversee internal and external security assessments and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant major or equivalent experience in security, risk, audit, compliance, and management is required.
The candidate must have 10+ years of experience in an IT-security field with a technical background or experience in security risk assessments.
Strong relationship management, team building, and facilitation skills are necessary.
The ability to interpret and apply security policies, standards, and procedures is essential.
Candidates should possess the drive to research and provide guidance and solutions, as well as the skill to assess risks versus benefits.
The ability to communicate effectively with audiences at varying corporate levels is required.
Curiosity to ask questions and challenge the status quo is important.
Beneficial certifications include CISSP, CISM, CIPP, CISA, CRISC, and CCSP.
Knowledge of major security domains, IT-related frameworks, and privacy-related regulations is necessary.
