Description:

  • Lead a team of software developers to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to high-quality standards.
  • Write and review code, setting the standard for quality and maintainability.
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle from planning to deployment and maintenance.
  • Mentor and support junior developers to help them grow their skills.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and other stakeholders for successful project delivery.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and bring new ideas and innovations to the team.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in software development with proficiency in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
  • Leadership Excellence: Proven track record of leading development teams to deliver high-quality software on time and within budget.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong abilities in Agile project management, organization, and multitasking.
  • Process Improvement: Deep understanding of software development processes and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Humor: A great sense of humor to foster a productive and enjoyable work environment.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or relevant technologies are a plus.

Experience Requirements:

  • 7+ years of software development experience, with 2-3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in building and scaling software products in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency in frontend and backend development, cloud computing, and modern development frameworks.
