Description:
The Lead Software Engineer will be responsible for driving the technology side of a B2B SaaS company, Remove.tech, which aims to scale from EUR 1 million to 10 million in ARR within the next 5 years.
The position is based in Munich and reports directly to the CEO.
The company has grown from 0 to 800k in ARR within 1.5 years and is a bootstrapped remote company founded in Vienna, Austria.
The first month will involve onboarding, team introductions, product understanding, and customer interactions.
By the end of the first three months, the engineer should identify quick wins, build trust with peers, and develop a rough tech strategy.
After six months, a clear tech strategy should be established, with full ownership of tech activities and ongoing customer engagement.
Responsibilities include developing technology strategies, leading technical functions, understanding customer requirements, building a high-quality code base, and contributing to hiring processes.
Requirements:
Candidates must have proven experience in building outstanding products, ideally in a B2B SaaS start-up.
A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience is required, with at least 5 years in coding.
A hands-on attitude and a desire to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities are essential.
Experience in customer-centric and agile environments is necessary.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities are required.
Candidates should have a passion for working in fast-paced scale-ups and with digital products and services.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills are needed, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
Excellent leadership and people management skills are essential to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
Experience in developing and implementing DevOps processes is required.
