Description:

  • The Lead Software Engineer will be responsible for driving the technology side of a B2B SaaS company, Remove.tech, which aims to scale from EUR 1 million to 10 million in ARR within the next 5 years.
  • The position is based in Munich and reports directly to the CEO.
  • The company has grown from 0 to 800k in ARR within 1.5 years and is a bootstrapped remote company founded in Vienna, Austria.
  • The first month will involve onboarding, team introductions, product understanding, and customer interactions.
  • By the end of the first three months, the engineer should identify quick wins, build trust with peers, and develop a rough tech strategy.
  • After six months, a clear tech strategy should be established, with full ownership of tech activities and ongoing customer engagement.
  • Responsibilities include developing technology strategies, leading technical functions, understanding customer requirements, building a high-quality code base, and contributing to hiring processes.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have proven experience in building outstanding products, ideally in a B2B SaaS start-up.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience is required, with at least 5 years in coding.
  • A hands-on attitude and a desire to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities are essential.
  • Experience in customer-centric and agile environments is necessary.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities are required.
  • Candidates should have a passion for working in fast-paced scale-ups and with digital products and services.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills are needed, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills are essential to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in developing and implementing DevOps processes is required.
