Description:

Sabot Consulting is seeking a qualified Lead Software Engineer to assist in the design, documentation, and development of complex IT applications.
This role will lead the modification, testing, installation, and implementation of a new Data Warehouse system.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, from design to testing, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Responsibilities include analyzing and refining systems requirements, translating them into application prototypes, planning and designing systems architecture, writing, debugging, and maintaining code, and determining application architecture.
The Lead Software Engineer will also design user interfaces, work with customers to test applications, assure software and systems quality and functionality, integrate hardware and software components, and write and maintain program documentation.
The role involves evaluating new application software technologies and ensuring the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices to the delivery of application software services.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 7 years of full-time experience in electronic data processing, systems analysis, design, and programming.
A minimum of 4 years of full-time experience in a lead capacity in electronic data processing systems study, design, and programming is required.
A bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related IT field is necessary.
Candidates should have 5 years of full-time experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) or as an Application Developer in programming SQL, specifically Teradata and/or DataStage – ETL.
Additionally, 4 years of full-time experience supporting and maintaining data feeds in and out of a data warehouse is required.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $120,000.
