Description:
ECP is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join their growing team and contribute to the development of a market-leading SaaS solution for senior living communities.
This position is remote and open to candidates located in the US.
The engineer will play a lead role in building new applications, enhancing existing products, and modernizing the tech stack.
Responsibilities include developing applications using jQuery, Bootstrap, and Adobe ColdFusion, while also learning and working with technologies like ReactJS, NodeJS, and PostgreSQL.
The engineer will contribute to a code base hosted on AWS and stay updated on technical best practices.
The role involves designing and architecting new applications with cutting-edge technology and collaborating effectively within a team.
The engineer will conduct weekly one-on-ones with team members, helping to define goals and providing mentorship.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 4+ years of software development experience.
Experience as a team lead and/or Scrum Master is necessary.
The ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems autonomously is essential.
Proficiency with full-stack front-end and back-end frameworks and languages is required.
An interest in mentoring or managing other engineers is preferred.
Candidates must have 2+ years of experience with Adobe ColdFusion and SQL (MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
Experience in designing and architecting scalable applications for at least 2 years is required.
A passion for writing code that positively impacts people is essential.
Familiarity with common design patterns and object-oriented development is necessary.
Experience working in an agile development process is required.
Fluent English with strong grammatical skills is a must.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
