Remote Lead Software Engineer

Description:

• DebtBook is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join their team and contribute to delivering new functionality while also assisting in the growth of the team and codebase.
• The role involves writing code and tests for application updates, leading features with other engineers, breaking down requirements into manageable tasks, reviewing merge requests, and integrating feedback promptly.
• The Lead Software Engineer will also be involved in onboarding and mentoring new engineers, with an expectation to become proficient in the application's patterns within 3 months.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of professional Software Engineering experience is required.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, React, and SQL is essential.
• Experience in writing tests using Rspec or Minitest is necessary.
• Demonstrated experience in leading large projects and SQL schema design is a must.
