The Lead Software Engineer will be the most senior technical person on the 10-person Digital Adherence team working on the SureAdhere platform.
This role involves partnering closely with the Director of Product to define product and technical direction and mentoring other engineers on the team.
The position is approximately 50% hands-on coding and 50% strategic, ensuring alignment between technical vision and product goals.
Responsibilities include technical leadership, hands-on development, and team collaboration.
The engineer will own the architectural vision and technical strategy for the platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
The role requires writing clean, scalable code, solving complex technical challenges, and mentoring junior team members.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 10+ years of software development experience in a modern environment.
A deep knowledge of scalable application architecture patterns and database design for applications is required.
Experience in building engineering teams and structuring them for optimal skill allocation is necessary.
Candidates should be comfortable working in agile environments and with cross-functional teams, focusing on product goals.
Experience guiding teams in adopting best engineering practices and technical processes is essential.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence and inspire without formal authority are required.
Fluency in written and spoken English and excellent communication skills are mandatory.
Relevant work rights within the country of residence are required.
Bonus qualifications include familiarity with the tech stack (.NET core, Entity Framework, Bootstrap, Angular, Python, Docker, Azure, Kubernetes), mobile app development, AI-assisted development, and a degree in Computer Science or related fields.
