Description:

Dscout is seeking a Lead Software Engineer - Elixir to join their remote team in the United States.
The role involves building software that bridges the gap between product teams and users, utilizing advanced AI and research tools.
The candidate will work on a web platform built on React.js and Elixir, with GraphQL APIs and PostgreSQL for storage.
Responsibilities include being an active member of a cross-functional product development team, mentoring other engineers, and ensuring the technical quality of the team's product.
The engineer will develop customer-facing applications in a fast-paced agile environment and collaborate closely with the design team.
The position requires a focus on backend development with some full-stack work, applying a DevOps mindset to improve the Continuous Delivery pipeline.
The working hours are standard from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM CT, with flexibility as needed.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of experience as a software engineer.
A desire and proven track record of leading and mentoring engineers is essential.
At least 1 year of experience with Elixir and its ecosystem is required.
Good working knowledge of SQL is necessary.
Experience with full stack architectures, API design, and implementation is expected.
Solid experience with production troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and tuning is required.
Familiarity with frontend development is a plus.
Candidates should be familiar with agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD processes.
Experience with cloud architectures is also necessary.
