Description:

  • Coupa is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join their development team in Boca Raton, Florida, with remote work options available.
  • The role involves developing and maintaining Coupa’s software products using Ruby, .NET, and React, as part of a multi-tenant SaaS solution on cloud platforms like AWS, Windows Azure, and GCP.
  • The Lead Software Engineer will lead the design and development of new architecture and major functional upgrades for the Coupa Platform.
  • Responsibilities include building expertise in the Coupa application suite, adhering to iterative development processes, and acting as a sounding board for architecture standards.
  • The position requires documenting solutions, consulting on proposed solutions, and collaborating with Engineering and Product leadership teams on feature designs and defect analysis.
  • The engineer will provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers, designers, and developers, and engage with cross-organizational teams to ensure successful software development and deployment.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, systems analysis, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Candidates must have 5+ years of software development experience, specifically in building enterprise SaaS web applications using modern frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, .Net/C#, ReactJS, SQL, and Typescript, along with strong knowledge of Javascript, CSS, and HTML5.
  • Full stack web development expertise is necessary, with hands-on experience in building responsive UI, Single Page Applications, and reusable components, along with a keen eye for UI design and usability.
  • Experience with web-accessibility/WCAG standards, i18n best practices, cross-browser compatibility, and performance is required.
  • A passion for keeping up with the latest trends in the Frontend developer community and an eagerness to incorporate outside-in thinking into product development is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of APIs and integration with the backend is also required.
