Remote Lead Software Engineer

Description:

• Design, code, test, and release software using HTML, Typescript/Javascript/React, Python, and Rust
• Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers in an autonomous, cross-functional team
• Take operational responsibility for services, including deploying into AWS and Kubernetes environments and participating in an on-call rotation
• Work in an environment that supports individual growth

Requirements:

• Must have 10+ years of experience as a software developer in a fast-paced technical environment
• Strong English speaking and writing skills to communicate effectively
• Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, HTML, CSS, and DOM web programming
• Knowledge and experience in Python, Rust, and React
• Familiarity with Git/Github actions, GitLab for build and testing technologies
• Experience in security, scalability, asynchronous programming, and transactions
• Knowledge of service-oriented architectures and ability to lead service strategy implementation
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including Normalization/Denormalization, Constraints, Transactions, Replication, and Sharding
• Attention to detail, good work ethic, ability to work on multiple projects, and strong communication skills
