Description:

  • The Lead Software Engineer (Full Stack) will drive the development of new product areas and provide technical leadership within a collaborative, cross-functional team.
  • Responsibilities include developing secure, scalable, and maintainable cloud services using technologies such as C#, Golang, Kafka, Terraform, TypeScript, and React.
  • The role involves managing and mentoring a small group of engineers while creating a safe and inclusive environment.
  • The engineer will create new customer value in small increments and work closely with product managers and designers to address customer problems.
  • Collaboration across teams is essential to define the architecture and technical roadmap, making pragmatic decisions aligned with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and operating cloud software at scale.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Experience in technical leadership and people management, including mentoring and supporting other engineers, is necessary.
  • The ability to manage risk, ambiguity, dependencies, and cross-functional stakeholders is essential.
  • Candidates should align engineering work with high-level organizational goals and demonstrate a keen sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Experience working with distributed teams in global engineering organizations is preferred.
