Remote Lead Software Engineer, Fullstack (Platform)

Description:

• Hims & Hers Health, Inc. is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to assist in developing an efficient eCommerce management user experience.
• The role involves coaching other engineers, setting best practices for architecture and coding, collaborating with various teams, and creating engaging user interfaces.
• Responsibilities include monitoring application performance, contributing to operational excellence, mentoring team members, and maintaining detailed documentation.
• The position requires participation in retrospectives, cross-functional team collaboration, and communication with product and engineering leadership.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience is required.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a software engineer with a track record of shipping production code.
• Proficiency in React, HTML5, Javascript, Typescript, CSS3/SASS, and GraphQL.
• Strong understanding of CSS, design principles, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with backend service design and development using languages like Java and Kotlin.
• Proficiency in full stack delivery and hosting on Kubernetes and AWS, agile methodologies, CI/CD processes, and Relational Databases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
