Description:
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of highly available and scalable infrastructure and services.
Optimise the usage of AWS Technologies to align with industry security best practices.
Develop and implement best practices for monitoring, alerting, and incident response to ensure system reliability and availability.
Automate deployment, configuration, and management processes to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning to proactively address scalability challenges and optimise resource utilisation.
Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure applications are designed for reliability, scalability, and performance.
Drive continuous improvement through the evaluation and adoption of new technologies, tools, and methodologies.
Debug and perform root cause analysis for application issues.
Proactively identify application pain points and suggest mitigation strategies.
Take initiative in improving the development process.
Requirements:
Experience as a .NET Software Development Engineer, particularly for a cloud-based SaaS.
Experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, SQL Server.
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, and enforcing secure cloud infrastructure.
Experience in developing software using microservices or SOA architecture for deployment on public clouds, preferably AWS.
Good understanding of database concepts and experience working with relational databases such as MS SQL.
Strong knowledge of Elastic Beanstalk.
Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
Experience using Agile methodologies and working with Product teams.
Quality coding practices, including test-driven development, unit testing, and secure coding awareness.
Passion for learning and sharing knowledge, and willingness to challenge peers and be challenged.
Proficient in English language, both written and verbal.
