The Lead Software Engineer will implement real-time, high-performance web applications for both desktop and mobile.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 7+ years of full stack experience in developing performant, scalable web-based applications, preferably in a SaaS environment, using Ruby on Rails and React.
Experience in leading or managing teams of remote developers is required.
Applicants should have delivered and supported commercial, enterprise software and possess extensive full stack development experience.
Proficiency in a modern programming language such as Ruby, Java, or Typescript is necessary.
Candidates should be goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
A deep understanding of object-oriented or functional programming design paradigms is required.
Strong practical experience in building RESTful microservices and event-based distributed systems is necessary.
Candidates should have a good understanding of system architecture and time-complexity trade-offs.
Experience with production services and mentoring others in scalable aspects of Cloud services is required.
Proficiency in developing and deploying for cloud platforms like AWS is necessary.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required.
Prior experience in the healthcare industry is a bonus.
