Requirements:

• A minimum of 7 years of full stack experience in developing performant, scalable web-based applications, preferably in a SaaS environment, using Ruby on Rails and React.
• Experience in leading or managing teams of remote developers is required.
• Proven track record of delivering and supporting commercial, enterprise software.
• Extensive full stack development experience with proficiency in modern programming languages such as Ruby, Java, or Typescript.
• Candidates should be goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills are essential.
• A strong problem-solving ability and a deep understanding of object-oriented or functional programming design paradigms are necessary.
• Practical experience in building RESTful microservices and event-based distributed systems is required.
• Knowledge of system architecture and time-complexity trade-offs is important.
• Experience with production services and mentoring others in scalable aspects of cloud services is expected.
• Familiarity with best practices for growing a code base, REST, and writing performant SQL is needed.
• Candidates should have a formal design knowledge and awareness of design principles like SOLID and agile principles like YAGNI.
• A deep understanding of infrastructure architecture and troubleshooting microservices in production services is required.
• Proficiency in developing and deploying on cloud platforms like AWS is necessary.
• Candidates must be highly proficient in written and spoken English.
