Description:
The Lead Software Engineer will be responsible for developing, running, and maintaining Recorded Future’s advanced malware analysis sandbox.
The role involves extending data processing capabilities to provide comprehensive reports on malware through both static and dynamic analysis.
The engineer will build tools and infrastructure to manage diverse workloads, including handling over 10PB of data, running millions of VMs daily, and processing terabytes of data every hour.
The position includes building web services to facilitate user interaction with the Sandbox.
The engineer will also create tools to customize and analyze operating systems and hypervisors for malware analysis, including Windows, Unix, Android, and QEMU.
Requirements:
Candidates must be comfortable working asynchronously.
Proficiency in at least one back-end programming language is required, with a preference for Go.
A proven track record of building high-quality software through past experience, projects, or contributions is necessary.
The ability to automate repetitive tasks is essential.
Optional experience with Linux, Postgres, QEMU, and implementing RFCs and protocols is a plus.
