Description:
Alignable is seeking a Lead Software Engineer who is passionate about building delightful user experiences and leading a high-performing team.
The role involves impacting the future of the team, the company, and the member base by supporting all Product teams and enhancing core products.
The Engineering department is fast-paced and collaborative, divided into five main product pillars: Networking, Relationships, Solutions, Groups & Events, and Martec & Infrastructure.
The Lead Software Engineer will work closely with product management, design, growth marketing, and business partners to set and accomplish strategic goals.
The position is remote and can be based anywhere in the U.S., but candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. without a visa.
The tech stack includes Frontend technologies like Typescript/React/Jest, Backend technologies such as Ruby/Rails/RSpec and Elixir/Phoenix/ExUnit, and various databases and deployment tools.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5-8+ years of experience as a full stack software developer, with proficiency in React.js being required; Ruby or Elixir proficiency is a plus.
At least 2+ years of mentorship experience is required, including experience in a Team Lead/Technical Lead role with stakeholder management responsibilities.
Experience working closely with Product teams and driving Product requirements independently is a plus.
Strong customer focus, proficient communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment are essential.
Candidates should have experience in Agile/Scrum enterprise-scale software development and building scalable software.
Experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS) is required.
Bonus points for prior experience working with Marketing teams and enhancing marketing technology.
