Description:

  • Develop software applications, services, and systems meeting stringent security standards.
  • Manage source code using industry version control best practices.
  • Research new technologies to stay current in software development methodologies.
  • Ensure source code is valid, secure, and compatible with various browsers/devices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define needs and develop proposed solutions.
  • Integrate software applications into the operational baseline.
  • Perform test-driven development with strong unit testing techniques.
  • Modify/enhance existing software to correct errors and improve performance.
  • Create technical models, architectural artifacts, and prototypes.
  • Share actionable information with colleagues and engage with the community.
  • Prepare reports and consult with customers on technical issues.
  • Develop DevSecOps pipelines and incorporate security protocols.

Requirements:

  • US Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • 9 years of IT security experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, or 11+ years without a degree.
  • Certified Application Security Engineer (CASE) or Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP).
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional.
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript.
  • Experience with IT/software governance policy.
  • Extensive experience with SDLC and agile methodologies.
  • Experience in building web APIs using NIST SP 800-204 standards.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps pipeline tools and cloud computing.
  • Experience with Security Control Assessment in compliance with NIST standards.
