Description:

  • The Ticketing Co. is seeking a motivated Lead Technical Engineer to architect and maintain resilient systems for their event ticketing platform.
  • This is a remote full-time position requiring 35 hours of work per week.
  • The Lead Technical Engineer will oversee the entire web app and system infrastructure, including database management.
  • Responsibilities include ensuring optimization, performance, and data integrity across all systems, maintaining website uptime, and implementing robust security measures.
  • The role requires a strong focus on building for maintainability, scalability, and readability.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be based in Quebec.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French are required.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable infrastructure solutions, including cloud environments, is necessary.
  • At least 5 years of web development experience in NodeJS, React, and TypeScript is required.
  • Expertise in server infrastructure, preferably with experience in Google Cloud Platform, or acceptable experience with AWS is needed.
  • A deep understanding of security best practices and implementation is a must.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL, with expertise in optimizing and understanding its intricate details, is required.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably with Pulumi, is preferred.
  • Bonus skills include familiarity with React Native.
