Description:

The Ticketing Co. is seeking a motivated Lead Technical Engineer to architect and maintain resilient systems for their event ticketing platform.
This is a remote full-time position requiring 35 hours of work per week.
The Lead Technical Engineer will oversee the entire web app and system infrastructure, including database management.
Responsibilities include ensuring optimization, performance, and data integrity across all systems, maintaining website uptime, and implementing robust security measures.
The role requires a strong focus on building for maintainability, scalability, and readability.

Requirements:

Candidates must be based in Quebec.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French are required.
A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable infrastructure solutions, including cloud environments, is necessary.
At least 5 years of web development experience in NodeJS, React, and TypeScript is required.
Expertise in server infrastructure, preferably with experience in Google Cloud Platform, or acceptable experience with AWS is needed.
A deep understanding of security best practices and implementation is a must.
Proficiency in PostgreSQL, with expertise in optimizing and understanding its intricate details, is required.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably with Pulumi, is preferred.
Bonus skills include familiarity with React Native.
