Remote Lead Wireless Network Engineer (Advanced Wireless Networks)

Description:

• Design, plan, and implement advanced wireless networks using platforms like Aruba, Commscope, Ruckus, Extreme, and Meraki.
• Lead complex Wi-Fi deployments to ensure optimal coverage, capacity, and performance.
• Conduct advanced site surveys with tools like Ekahau or AirMagnet for accurate network planning.
• Troubleshoot and optimize wireless networks, addressing interference, connectivity, and performance issues.
• Provide tier 3 support for complex wireless network problems.
• Lead and mentor a team of 30 lower-level infrastructure engineers in wireless network design and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate wireless networks with existing infrastructure.
• Implement wireless security protocols like WPA3 and RADIUS.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for network designs and troubleshooting procedures.
• Provide regular reports on network performance and incidents to senior management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Wi-Fi implementation, design, and troubleshooting with Aruba, Commscope, Ruckus, Extreme, and Meraki platforms.
• CWNE or CWNP certification, CCNA Wireless certification.
• Experience leading engineering teams and managing complex wireless network projects.
• Proficiency in using Ekahau and AirMagnet for wireless network analysis.
• Strong knowledge of wireless standards and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, team management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
