Description:
- Lead a team of WordPress developers, configuration analysts, and designers to manage WordPress projects for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
- Architect and implement custom WordPress solutions to meet client requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers and clients to gather requirements and provide technical expertise.
- Optimize WordPress sites for speed and scalability.
- Maintain code quality through reviews and testing.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in WordPress development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress performance and functionality.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of WordPress development experience with a strong project portfolio.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience in custom theme and plugin development.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress security practices and optimization.
- Previous experience in leading and managing a development team.
- Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for coding and commitment to industry best practices.
