Remote LiDAR Data Technician (Junior/Entry Level Welcome)

Description:

• Intetics Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented LiDAR Data Technician to join their team in Lviv, Ukraine.
• This position is suitable for junior or entry-level candidates and offers training and mentoring.
• The role involves processing LiDAR point clouds using TerraScan and MicroStation.
• Responsibilities include performing 2D and 3D feature extraction and vectorization.
• The technician will interpret spatial and geospatial data with a focus on accuracy.
• Quality control checks and implementing corrections are essential tasks.
• The technician must follow documentation and workflows provided in English.
• Collaboration with the team is necessary to meet deadlines and project standards.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have experience working with CAD files.
• A basic understanding of GIS and coordinate systems is required.
• The ability to read and understand English-language instructions and documentation is essential.
• Familiarity with or interest in LiDAR technology and point cloud data is necessary.
• Experience with MicroStation and TerraScan is a bonus, even at a basic level.
• A degree or courses in GIS, geodesy, cartography, or related fields is considered a bonus.
