We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Administrator and OpenShift Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Linux systems, implementing OpenShift environments, and ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of enterprise-level containerized applications.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure requirements and drive automation efforts.
Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
You will design, deploy, and manage OpenShift Container Platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.
Automating infrastructure and system management tasks using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and scripting languages such as Python or Bash is required.
You will optimize and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters, ensuring smooth deployment and scaling of containerized applications.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient application delivery is essential.
Monitoring system and application performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack, and implementing proactive solutions for improvement is part of the role.
Implementing security measures, including firewall configurations, SSL/TLS certificates, and routine updates to maintain compliance with best practices is necessary.
Documenting technical processes, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines for internal and external stakeholders is expected.
You will provide support for production and non-production systems, handling complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Staying updated on the latest trends and advancements in Linux, OpenShift, and DevOps practices, contributing to continuous improvement efforts is important.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu/Suse) is required.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes is necessary.
Proficiency in containerization tools like Docker, CRI-O, or Helm is essential.
Strong knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and scripting languages (Python, Bash) is required.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is necessary.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack is expected.
An understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with OpenShift is required.
A solid grasp of networking concepts, including DNS, load balancing, and firewalls is necessary.
Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases is required.
Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex system issues are essential.
