Description:

The main responsibility of this role is to own the Linux systems and support the deployment and maintenance of applications on them.
The position involves handling both custom and standard open source and proprietary applications.
The ideal candidate should be able to support basic needs for Windows DevOps as well.
Responsibilities include planning, designing, building, and defining the monitoring of Linux and Windows applications and the systems that run them.
The role requires implementing client-requested integrations and supporting the team in deploying updates and fixes.
Conducting root cause analysis for issues and investigating and resolving technical problems is essential.
The candidate will develop scripts to automate processes and updates.
Providing technical support and designing procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance is also part of the job.

Requirements:

Proven experience with version control system administration, including management of the company’s version control system and code remote repositories.
Knowledgeable in Linux server administration, including management of Ubuntu, Centos, and Debian servers.
Familiarity with web server administration, specifically managing Nginx and Apache web servers.
Experience with database administration, including management of databases and database servers.
Experience with CI/CD and automation, focusing on managing the development pipeline and task automation.
Understanding of Development Security Operations, particularly in managing development infrastructure security.
Experience with bash scripting is required, and experience in Python and PHP is a plus.
Experience with infrastructure and event monitoring, including monitoring resource utilization and security events.
Proven experience with cloud computing and virtualization, specifically working with hypervisors and cloud service providers.
