Description:
- The Linux System Engineer will work as a Technical Consultant in the Technical Applications department.
- Responsibilities include planning, designing, and installing Windows and Linux systems applications in customer projects.
- The role involves supporting the operation and further development of existing applications.
- Operating standard applications and providing in-house customer development in the technical environment is part of the job.
- The engineer will also be involved in release and patch management and independent projects.
Requirements:
- Fluency in German (min. B2) and English (B2) is required.
- Completion of training as an IT specialist for system integration or a comparable qualification is necessary.
- Several years of experience with Windows and Linux systems is a must.
- Interest in the operation of customer applications and willingness to learn new topics is essential.
- Experience in topics like Windows Server, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, Citrix, Active Directory, SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, OpenText, M365, Azure IaaS is preferred.
- Solution- and process-oriented thinking and a confident appearance towards customers are important qualities.
