Description:

The Machine Learning Advocate Engineer for Computer Vision at Hugging Face plays a crucial role in promoting the adoption of the Hub platform and Open Source technologies by building and expanding communities, enhancing developer experience, and providing feedback to the team.
This position involves collaborating with the Open Source, Science, and Product teams to contribute to libraries like Transformers, Diffusers, and Datasets, as well as external libraries.
Responsibilities include developing integrations with open-source libraries in the Computer Vision (CV) space, creating and sharing high-quality content such as demos and blog posts, and co-organizing events focused on state-of-the-art CV models.
The role requires technical collaboration with the team, fostering collaborations in the ML for Computer Vision Space, staying updated on the latest CV-related features, and developing tools for the community.

Requirements:

Ideal candidates should have a deep technical understanding and a generalist mindset, with good engineering skills and solid communication abilities.
Proficiency in Machine Learning, experience in Open Source development, and engagement in platforms like GitHub, LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit are advantageous.
