Remote Machine Learning Advocate Engineer Internship, Audio - US Remote

Description:

• The internship at Hugging Face focuses on advancing Machine Learning, particularly in the Audio domain, by making open-source tools more accessible to the community.
• You will contribute to the development of the next generation of Audio Language Models (LMs) by collaborating with audio data providers, improving support for audio data types, building demos for audio/voice models, and creating new leaderboards for evaluations.
• This is a technical role that involves fostering collaborations with groups in the ML for Audio Space, leading communications, adopting the latest Audio-related features, and building tools for the community.
• The position does not involve marketing and requires a generalist mindset to contribute to libraries such as Transformers, Diffusers, or Datasets, as well as external libraries.

Requirements:

• Passion for open-source projects and a strong interest in making Audio Language Models more accessible to engineers, researchers, and the broader audio community.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with different groups in the ML for Audio Space and drive communications within the community.
• Proficiency in technical skills to contribute to the development of Audio LMs and related tools.
• Generalist mindset and willingness to work on various aspects of the project, including integrations with audio data providers, building demos, and creating leaderboards for evaluations.
