Remote Machine Learning Engineer

Description:

• The Machine Learning Engineer at Supernormal will be responsible for developing AI solutions for meeting notes, question answering, and task completion.
• The role involves working on prompt engineering, building and shipping custom machine learning models, training and deploying large language models, developing new product experiences using NLP & LLMs, defining and improving business & product metrics, improving LLM-powered search and question answering, and advocating for new and better ways of doing things.
• The ideal candidate will work on optimizing cost, latency, and quality, collaborating with product engineers and the design team, and leaving everything they touch better than they found it.

Requirements:

• AI/ML Experience: Must have 3-5 years of experience in AI/ML, proficiency in NLP & LLMs, and skills in data curation, modeling, and training models.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, Mathematics, or related field; Master’s degree or PhD is a plus.
• Software Engineering Skills: Strong foundation in software engineering principles and experience in writing code for production engineering systems.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python and SQL, experience with Python & PyTorch, and familiarity with Ruby on Rails and SQL queries on Snowflake.
