Remote Machine Learning Engineer

Description:

• The Machine Learning Engineer at Supernormal will be responsible for developing AI solutions for meeting notes, question answering, and task completion.
• The role involves working on projects such as prompt engineering, building custom machine learning models, training and deploying large language models, developing new product experiences using NLP & LLMs, and improving LLM-powered search and question answering.
• The ideal candidate will optimize for cost, latency, and quality, collaborate with product engineers & design team, and advocate for new and better ways of doing things.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated proficiency in AI/ML with 3-5 years of experience in building machine learning systems, up-to-date on NLP & LLMs, and skilled in data curation, modeling, and training models.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, Mathematics, or related field; Master’s degree or PhD is a plus.
• Strong software engineering skills with experience in writing production code, proficient in Python, PyTorch, and SQL.
• Collaborative mindset, willingness to tackle challenging problems, operate with high agency, and contribute ideas for improvement.
• Ability to learn and suggest better ways of doing things, work as a team to level up, and approach challenges with a growth mindset.
