Remote Machine Learning Engineer

Description:

• The Machine Learning Engineer at MediaLab will be responsible for developing and deploying modeled solutions, selecting and maintaining the ML framework, and optimizing models produced by data science to run efficiently at scale.
• The role involves productionalizing models, collaborating with data platform engineers and software engineers to ensure consumable outputs, and partnering with data science and business intelligence teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Responsibilities also include sourcing and preparing data, optimizing models for cost-efficiency, storing model outputs in accessible formats, exposing model outputs to applications, and managing scheduled retraining of models.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of professional experience in a ML Engineering/ML Ops role or as a data engineer with significant exposure to ML model deployment.
• Advanced python skills with experience in building ML workflows or CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in data science libraries such as pandas, numpy, and scipy.
• Competence in SQL and experience with data cleansing.
• Experience in optimizing ML models at scale and productionalizing models in collaboration with data scientists.
• Understanding of hyperparameter tuning and familiarity with common statistical models.
