Description:

  • We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on developing, deploying, and optimizing machine learning models and solutions in a cloud-based environment.
  • You will be responsible for building, scaling, and maintaining ML pipelines, ensuring robust model performance, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful AI-driven outcomes.

  • This fully remote, long-term contract opportunity offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $55-$65 per hour (plus benefits), along with a strong pathway for future growth and the potential for permanent hire, based on business needs and performance.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field is required.
  • Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably within a large enterprise environment, with 1+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python is required, with hands-on experience using libraries such as TensorFlow and PySpark.
  • Experience deploying and monitoring machine learning models using containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud ML solutions, specifically VertexAI and related Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, is required.
  • Familiarity with SQL for data preparation and analysis is essential.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code, is preferred.
  • General software engineering skills, including familiarity with coding best practices and collaborative development workflows, are necessary.
  • Strong communication skills are required, as candidates must be comfortable interfacing with business stakeholders, developers, and other cross-functional team members.
  • Candidates must reside within the continental US while working and must be exclusively dedicated to this role during standard Eastern Time business hours.
