Description:

The Machine Learning Engineer will lead the development of modeling complex, real-world problems.
This role involves leading the development of complex data pipelines to support production systems.
The engineer will also lead efforts to bring machine learning algorithms into production.
Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining production machine learning data pipelines.
The position is remote, with the option to work from Reno, NV.

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in machine learning model development, building data pipelines, and robust machine learning software systems is required.
Candidates must have strong and in-depth knowledge of various modeling techniques and machine learning frameworks.
A strong understanding of machine learning pipelines, including standardization, normalization, clustering, modeling, scoring, and validation is necessary.
Proficiency in relational databases is required.
Strong knowledge of Python, R, and SQL is essential.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of distributed systems configuration and production maintenance.
An understanding of ETL engineering and tools to interface with data teams is needed.
Knowledge of data design principles across multiple storage systems is required.
A working knowledge of AWS is necessary.
Candidates should be able to parse and manipulate a variety of datasets and formats.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with the ability to distill ambiguity into working results.
Autonomy and a willingness to take responsibility are important traits for this role.
