The role of Machine Learning Engineer involves building AI solutions that enhance the core product experience for meetings, including transcription, note generation, and task automation.
Responsibilities include leading the full development cycle of AI solutions, prompt engineering, custom model training, and optimizing deployment for cost, latency, and quality.
Key projects involve improving transcript quality, training and deploying custom language models, creating new NLP-driven product experiences, and enhancing LLM-powered search and question answering.
The company operates as a remote-first organization with annual team retreats and gatherings several times a quarter.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3-5 years of production-level AI/ML experience with a proven track record in building machine learning systems.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in delivering products and services using Generative AI, particularly in building NLP systems with LLMs.
A solid engineering background with a strong foundation in software engineering principles is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, Mathematics, or a related field is necessary; a Master’s degree or PhD is a plus.
Proficiency in Python is required, and familiarity with Ruby on Rails and Typescript is a bonus.
Candidates should possess a collaborative mindset, a drive to tackle tough problems, high agency, and a willingness to learn and improve existing approaches.
