Description:
Agiloft is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join their Data Science Team, focusing on machine learning and generative AI.
The role involves building and integrating production features that utilize machine learning technologies, collaborating with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Knowledge Experts, and Engineering teams.
Responsibilities include developing and optimizing infrastructure for machine learning prototyping, deployment, and iterative improvements based on customer feedback.
The engineer will support the development and maintenance of the AI platform, providing both standard and custom AI model solutions for clients.
The position requires architecting robust data pipelines to address scalability and performance issues, while advocating for best practices within the team.
The engineer will engage in project initiatives, contribute to planning processes, and educate internal stakeholders about machine learning projects and their business implications.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3-5 or more years of experience in a Machine Learning Engineering role.
Fluency in Python and the associated Data Science stack (numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, pandas) is required.
Proficiency in at least one relational database language is necessary.
Strong communication skills are essential to explain the abilities and limitations of ML systems to developers, product managers, and UX designers.
Experience with deep learning and generative AI models, both third-party and open-source, is preferred.
Expertise in designing and implementing robust data pipelines, particularly for scalability and performance, is required.
Candidates should have the ability to architect and deploy basic machine learning models in a production environment.
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure environments (AWS, GCP, etc.) and containerization technology (Docker, Kubernetes) is necessary.
Knowledge of machine learning model optimization and the ability to advise on trade-offs and options is required.
Familiarity with model drift and the ability to monitor and respond appropriately in straightforward scenarios is necessary.
Experience with at least one CI/CD tool and modern principles of software development and version control is required.
