Remote Machine Learning Engineer

Description:

• As a Machine Learning Engineer at Alto Pharmacy, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying ML models to enhance the pharmacy experience.
• You will collaborate with various teams to integrate ML solutions into products and services, focusing on improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
• The role involves working on staffing challenges within Alto's pharmacies and utilizing the latest developments in Large Language Models and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• You will have exposure to cutting-edge AI/ML systems and technologies like SageMaker and Foundational Models such as Anthropic’s Claude/Mistral.
• Initiatives include developing personalized recommendation systems and building AI Assistant tools for cross-company user adoption.

Requirements:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in machine learning, data science, or applied science engineering.
• Proven track record of deploying ML models at scale in production environments.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar language.
• Proficiency in ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Experience with data manipulation using SQL, Pandas, or similar tools.
• Ability to design, train, deploy, and scale models on Cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
