Description:

As a Machine Learning Engineer on the Data Science team at ActivTrak, you will be involved in AI/ML driven analytics initiatives.
You will research, build, and deploy cutting-edge ML models that provide critical business value and actionable insights.
The role involves tackling petabyte-scale data challenges, working with millions of events daily across thousands of customers.
Your responsibilities will cover the entire ML lifecycle, from sourcing and transforming raw data into robust features to managing and optimizing models in production.
You will collaborate closely with engineering and business teams to translate complex data into clear answers for customers' pressing questions.
Prior experience in the end-to-end research, development, and production deployment of high-impact ML models is highly valued.

Requirements:

You must have 3 years of experience in machine learning, data science, data engineering, or a related technical field.
Proficiency in using Python and SQL for model development and data analysis is required.
You should have experience leveraging libraries and tools for dataframes and vectors, such as Pandas and Polars.
Experience with Classification and Regression algorithms is necessary.
You must be familiar with model evaluation techniques.
Familiarity with supervised and unsupervised learning approaches is required.
A solid understanding of Probability, Statistics, and Linear Algebra is essential.
Preferred qualifications include familiarity with timeseries datasets and leveraging LLMs and the concepts behind RAG.
Experience working in Cloud Platforms, particularly GCP, is a plus.
Familiarity with using Docker and deploying to Kubernetes is preferred.
An interest in Agentic AI is also desirable.
