Datatonic is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their team and help shape the future of AI and data.
The role involves engineering high-quality code in Python and advocating for best practices in production software and rapid prototypes.
Responsibilities include developing machine learning solutions, participating in project scoping, and collaborating with team members for successful project delivery.
The engineer will translate vague requirements into models, conduct ML experiments, leverage generative AI, optimize machine learning solutions, implement custom code, ensure efficient data flow, automate ML workflows, design ML architectures using Google Cloud tools, and build production-grade software for data-driven solutions.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, preferably with a consulting background.
Proficiency in Python is required, with the ability to deliver production-ready code in well-tested CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure is necessary.
Hands-on experience with foundational software engineering practices is expected.
Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and managing data is required.
Experience in scaling computations using GPUs or distributed computing systems is essential.
Familiarity with exposing machine learning components through web services or wrappers, such as Flask in Python, is preferred.
Strong communication and presentation skills are necessary to effectively convey technical concepts.
