Description:
Alto Pharmacy is a full-service, digitally-powered pharmacy focused on providing an easier, more supportive, and affordable pharmacy experience.
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy ML models that drive business forward.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, data science, and operations, to integrate ML solutions into products and services.
The role involves solving challenging problems using the latest developments in Large Language Models and AI.
You will work on initiatives such as developing personalized recommendation systems and building AI Assistant tools.
Responsibilities include developing and driving the ML strategy, mentoring junior engineers, designing and deploying scalable ML models, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with product managers and clinical teams.
You will stay updated with advancements in ML and AI, experiment with new algorithms, and contribute to the company's intellectual property.
Requirements:
A Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in machine learning, data science, or a related field is necessary.
Proven experience in deploying ML models in production environments at scale is essential.
Strong programming skills in Python, R, or a similar language are required.
Experience with ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn is needed.
Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Pandas, or similar tools is required.
Experience in designing, training, deploying, and scaling models on Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is necessary.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset are essential.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to convey complex technical concepts.
Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $161,202 - $202,000.
The position is equity eligible but not commission eligible.
Full-time employees receive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Group Life, AD&D, and employer-paid STD/LTD.
Generous PTO and parental leave are also provided.
Employment is limited to individuals residing in specific states, and applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
