The Machine Learning Engineer will use API calls to extend functionality and integration with packaged NLP, vision, and GenAI services.
The role involves developing dial management systems to manage the flow of conversation, including handling context, maintaining state, and deciding appropriate responses based on user inputs.
The engineer will integrate conversational AI with backend systems and databases to retrieve information or perform actions based on user requests.
Responsibilities include training and fine-tuning models based on real user interactions to improve AI understanding and responsiveness.
The position requires testing and resolving bugs to ensure the AI behaves as expected across various scenarios and user inputs.
The engineer will monitor and optimize the performance of the AI systems they work with.

Requirements:

A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer is required.
A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but relevant experience will be considered as an equivalent.
A strong foundation in NLP, vision, and generative AI is necessary.
Experience with Vertex AI, Vertex Search, and Conversations is required.
Proficiency in Dialogflow CX is a must-have.
Knowledge of Vision AI and OCR is essential.
Familiarity with Cloud Text-to-Speech, Cloud Speech-to-Text, and Cloud Translation is required.
Proficiency in Python is necessary.
Experience with vector stores and Langchain is required.
Understanding of Data Loss Prevention is necessary.
Knowledge of CICD best practices, especially with the complexity of CCAI and/or PSO engagements, is required.
