Remote Machine Learning Engineer, Core Ranking

Description:

• The Machine Learning Engineer, Core Ranking will work with billions of events and terabytes of data to personalize Reddit for over 50 million daily users.
• Responsibilities include training, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models to enhance user experiences.
• The role involves participating in the full software development cycle, collaborating with other ML teams, and improving recommendation systems.
• This position requires ownership of projects from ideation to production, not just incremental gains on enterprise systems.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of hands-on, post-grad, non-internship professional experience with Machine Learning in a production-based environment.
• Solid theoretical knowledge of Machine Learning and Statistical concepts, including Deep Learning, with experience in recommender and/or ranking systems being a plus.
• Proficiency in at least one of: Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch, and the ability to extract insights from data using SQL.
• Passion for building user-friendly products, strong communication skills, and teamwork abilities.
