Description:
The Machine Learning Engineer will shape the future of data for autonomous trucking by contributing to the data-driven perception simulation pipeline.
This role involves applying state-of-the-art approaches for Neural Rendering in a scalable production setting.
Responsibilities include implementing the latest research advances in Neural Rendering and related domains.
The engineer will advance modern simulation techniques using state-of-the-art ML approaches and computer vision techniques.
They will support the implementation of a neural rendering framework that allows scaling of perception simulation.
The framework will be integrated into a cloud environment, and the pipeline will be automated for target verification and validation of autonomous trucks.
Development of a data workflow for the input and output to the pipeline is also required.
Requirements:
A BS or MS in computer vision, machine learning, computer science, computer engineering, or related fields is required.
Candidates should have 3+ years of software development experience or a PhD in machine learning, computer vision, or a related field.
Strong experience in Python and science libraries such as Numpy, SciPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib is necessary.
Experience with one or more deep learning frameworks, such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, is required.
Expert knowledge of the principles, algorithms, and tools of applied Deep Learning, including model training strategies, data processing, cost functions, and quality metrics, is essential.
Experience with 3D Computer Vision or rendering algorithms is required.
Candidates should have experience applying machine learning towards rendering, 3D computer vision, or related fields, preferably with multiple projects in these core areas.
A track record of successfully building and shipping products or open-source projects is necessary.
